I have them on both thumbs only........like half a moon that is.What does it mean when you can see a moon shape on your thumb nails?

It doesn't mean anything. It is not a lack of calcium. It is perfectly normal. My 11 year old daughter has them too and believe me she loves dairy so she is getting plenty of calcium. People, it is not a lack of calcium. Look it up for yourselves on google. It is perfectly normal and most people have them on their nails.
You need more calcium. Take those one a day women's vitamins.
