Take a big spoon of vinegar in a glass ans put iron nails in it. note the observation?

vinegar is acidic hence it has a property to corrode elements which comes in contact with it like Iron.


When iron nail is put in the glass of vinegar it starts reacting with the vinegar,hence giving rise to a stable compound called as iron acitate with the evolution of hydrogen...
